In order to have a successful estate sale, you have to know the best way to advertise for it.
The popularity of estate sales continues to rise year over year. For many, it’s become their weekend shopping destination, with most shoppers looking for everything from furniture, artwork, decor, housewares and kitchenware. Some even look for cars, guns and jewelry.

Local Estate Sales – Newspapers
Most newspapers have significantly reduced their print distribution in favor of online publications. In small cities, however, daily or weekly newspapers are still prevalent. These local newspapers typically maintain a decent online presence as well.
Circulation
Check the classified section of your local daily printed newspaper on the day before the sale. Most estate sales, also known as “estate auctions,” “tag sales,” or “moving sales,” begin on Friday, so check Thursday’s paper.
Most papers are published on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. These publications should allow you to find most upcoming estate sale listings before the weekend.

What is the cost for the on-site consultation?

What happens after the phone consultation?
We will visit your home for a free on-site consultation where we determine whether there are enough items in the residence to have a sale. If so, we then determine the marketability of the merchandise and whether you need a traditional in-house sale, online sale or a combination of both.
